Thomas Jefferson University Hospital

master plan + implementation | philadelphia, pa

Responding to the client’s goal of enhancing its Philadelphia campus, the landscape master plan focused on strengthening the identity of the Hospital within its urban surroundings by unifying campus streetscapes, highlighting building entrances, and enhancing the pedestrian experience to create a “sense of place.”  The plan creates an open space network by upgrading and programming existing spaces and connecting them through a linked pedestrian system that celebrates the campus center and defines campus edges.
