Duke University - Transitional Landscape Study
framework plan | raleigh, nc
Andropogon worked with Duke University to create a unified, accessible, and seamless transition between the west campus and the adjacent Sarah P. Duke Gardens. The study area for this project held key connections to and from the Gardens, Duke Chapel, West Quad, and student housing. These walks are some of the most memorable and well-traveled pedestrian routes for faculty, staff, students, alumni and visitors. The plan included design concepts to improve circulation, promote safety and accessibility, and enhance the landscape.
