Tom brings a strong background in ecological design and construction to his projects. With more than fourteen years of professional experience, he has the ability to take a variety of projects from the early conceptual stages through construction administration services. His understanding of design and how to balance a client’s needs with what is appropriate for the site helps to guide projects through complex design issues and approval processes. Tom has designed and managed various projects that have ranged from detailed site design to academic and corporate campus master plans. His recent projects include Shoemaker Green at the University of Pennsylvania, The United States Coast Guard Headquarters Building, Washington D.C., the Sidwell Friends School Athletics Facility, Washington D.C., and Temple University’s Health Sciences Campus Framework Plan in Philadelphia.
