Trained as a landscape architect and architect, Manisha’s design approach is focused on creating harmony and balance between the built and the natural worlds. Her expertise ranges from integrating stormwater management practices and techniques for site specific landscapes to watershed scales; to create and enhance ecological systems. She has managed planning and site design implementation projects for numerous academic and residential/mixed-use campuses, both in the United States and internationally. These projects all focus on using the site as a resource, developing site-specific designs for interpreting and visualizing the complex ecological processes in the context of mixed-use landscapes. Her recent projects include a new American International School in Saudi Arabia, a mixed-use residential development in India, a stormwater master plan for the City of Chattanooga, and ongoing work for the St. Elizabeths Campus in Washington, D.C.
